OBITUARY
Daniel E. Gamble, age 61, of Sugar Run, PA passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Robert Packer Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Dan was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, on April 5, 1951, a son of Bill and Mabel Smith Gamble. He attended Wyalusing High School and graduated in the class of 1969. After school he went to Williamsport Area Community College to be an architect, until he received a draft notice, then he enlisted in the United States Navy. After the service he went to work with his father running the Wyalusing Planing Mill. Dan opened the B&D Car Wash in 1995, which he owned and operated. He also worked for Penelec for a number of years, from which he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved being outside, hunting, fishing, Sudoku puzzles, and drawing.
He was a member of the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church, and the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534.

Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Services are under the direction of P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
