Vivian was born in Towanda, PA on October 20, 1925 a daughter of the late Oscar Donald Rider and the Maria Conway Rider. After graduating from St. Joseph’s High School in Renova, she attended Beauty School in Williamsport. Vivian worked for many years at the Herman Rynveld’s Son Corp., which was the former wreath factory in New Albany, PA. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, in Dushore, PA Vivian led a very simple and solitary life. She is survived by a son, Larry Thompson in Ohio, a daughter, and a caregiving cousin, Mary Farnsworth of Cogan Station, PA Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
