She was born August 22, 1934, in Bayonne, New Jersey, daughter of the late Michael & Mary Stavisky Serecsko. She had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2010 moving from Lopez, Pennsylvania. She previously lived in New Jersey and also spent 14 years in Tampa, Florida. Rose had been a member of Christ the Saviour Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Church in North Royalton, (where her son, Fr. Robert-Alexander Hubiak is the Deacon) and St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Church in Lopez. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John; sons, Fr. Robert-Alexander (Sally) Hubiak of North Ridgeville, Gary (Nancy) Hubiak of Carrollton, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Hobbs of Lopez, Pennsylvania and Donna (William) Lynch of Charlotte, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Hubiak. A Requiem Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Church, 211 Main Street, Lopez, PA with Hieromonk Michael Thier, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Vladimir Orthodox Cemetery, Lopez, PA Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614. There will a Parastas Service at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
